I see both Adults and young people. I offer Integrative and Attachment-based therapy. I work with addiction, trauma, LGBTQIA, autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, pet bereavement, relationships, family related issues, work place stress, life changing events, general wellbeing.

Life can get pretty overwhelming at times, and reaching out for support can be difficult, but let me reassure you, you have already made a big positive step forward, by looking for help in navigating the challenges that you are currently experiencing. I am a Qualified Integrative Counsellor and Attachment-based Therapist. I am a registered member of the BACP. I am a warm and empathic person and I will provide you with a safe, compassionate and confidential space so that you can openly share, without fear of judgement. Together we will explore your thoughts and feelings, at a pace that is comfortable for you, enabling you to make sense of what you are experiencing. We will explore your inner strengths and develop ways to help you manage life’s challenges in the way that works best for you. My background is one of experiencing many personal challenges, and have seen first-hand how Counselling can bring about real change and healing. For the past 20 years I have worked with people from a variety of backgrounds who have been experiencing complex challenges. I have a vast amount of experience in working with individuals experiencing Trauma, Addiction, Mental Health problems, Loss, Low self-esteem, Domestic abuse, Physical health conditions, Relationship problems, Family related issues, Self-harm and suicidal thoughts and Work-related issues.  I have experience of working with adults and young people who are Neurodiverse, LGBTQIA+, Homeless (Inc individuals, families & teenage parents), and elderly. I also have a keen interest in pet bereavement counselling. After experiencing the loss of my own pets, I found this devastating and hard to come to terms with the loss. I found there was little or no support within this area, which has led me to further studying in order to better offer support around pet bereavement. After all, our pets are family too.

I am a trainee counsellor with a relational approach, grounded in person-centred values. I aim to offer a safe, non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, understood, and able to explore their experiences at their own pace. My work is informed by an awareness of how our relationships, past and present, shape the way we experience ourselves and others. I have a particular interest in working with issues around identity, cultural experiences, anxiety, and relational difficulties. I am mindful of how factors such as culture, gender, and life experiences influence each person’s story, and I strive to work in a way that is respectful, collaborative, and attuned to individual needs. As a trainee, I work under regular supervision and am committed to ongoing personal and professional development.
